Virginia：Babe, you haven't rocked in ages. What is wrong？

Burt：Him, he's what's wrong.

Jimmy：What did I do？

Burt：You took my advice. Now everybody is talking about you. Jimmy, the guy who draws things on other things. You're making something of yourself and I never did.

Jimmy：But Dad, you did. You're a husband, a father, a grandfather. You…you built a business.

Burt：Blah blah blah, blabbetty blabbetty. I could have been somebody, too.

Jimmy：What are you talking about？

Burt：Blabbetty blabbetty means“I don't care what you are saying”.

Jimmy：No, I mean about you being somebody.

Burt：I didn't want to just play guitar in front of my mirror. I wanted to be in a rock band. And I could have too.

Virginia：親愛的，你好多年沒玩搖滾了，你怎麼了？

Burt：他，都賴他。

Jimmy：我怎麼了？

Burt：是我給你的建議，結果現在所有人都關注你。Jimmy，繪畫高手，到處留畫。你現在厲害了，可我甚麼都不是。

Jimmy：但是老爸，你也很棒啊，你是好老公，好爸爸，好爺爺。你……你還白手起家創出一番事業呢。

Burt：別廢話了。我本來也可以很成功的。

Jimmy：你說甚麼呢？

Burt：意思就是“我才不在乎你說甚麼”。

Jimmy：不，我是問你本來能成大人物的事。

Burt：我才不想一輩子對着鏡子彈吉他呢。我想過進一支搖滾樂隊。我本來也是能進的。
