Installing the .rpm package manually

The 64-bit .rpm package can also be manually downloaded from https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=760867 and installed. However, auto-updating of Visual Studio Code won't work unless the preceding repository is installed. Once you have downloaded it, you install it using your package manager, for example with dnf:

sudo dnf install <file>.rpm
