How to score 5.5-6.0 in Parts 1 and 3？In this book there are two levels of answers to Parts 1 and 3. A simple 4-part answer will help you to pass the test with a band score of 5.5 - 6.0. If you need 6.5 - 7.5, use the “COFFEES” method mentioned in 2.2.

Begin your answer with an opener. For example: “Well let me see, that’s an interesting question”. This gives you a little extra time to think about your answer and to organise it coherently. Then give your answer to the question, which is normally fairly short. After that give a reason, and if possible, finish your answer with an example/detail.

用一个“开始语”来开头。例如:“让我想想，这是一个有趣的问题。”这给了你一点额外的时间来思考问题，便于条理清晰地组织答案。然后回答这个问题，答案通常简短明了。其次给出一个理由，如果可能的话，用一个例子或者细节描述来结束你的回答。
