About the Authors

Dr Nikolaos Theodorakis is a lecturer and fellow at the University of Oxford, lecturing on public international law and international economic law. He recently acted as a consultant for the United Nations. Prior to his current appointments, Dr Theodorakis taught and conducted research at the University of Cambridge, Harvard Law School and Columbia Law School and gained professional experience at the US Committee on Capital Markets Regulation, the Kluge Centre at the US Library of Congress and the UK Ministry of Justice. Dr Theodorakis has received awards from several bodies, and his research has been widely published, including the monograph Transparency in Investor-State Dispute Settlement: Law, Practice, and Emerging Tools against Institutional Corruption, published by Harvard University in 2015.
